For more than 25 years, Trevear Thomas has been an executive advisor to senior client leadership teams and boards for some of Deloitte's largest accounts bringing invaluable insights around emerging governance issues and trends impacting M&A, financial performance, disrupting business models, and the changing competitive business landscape.
As Deloitte's Strategic Growth Offering (SGO) leader, Trevear is responsible for the go-to-market, investment and integration of Deloitte's most strategic offerings including AI, Cloud, Cyber, Sustainability, M&A, Finance Transformation and Operate services. As a Global Board member, he provides oversight to Deloitte’s $65B global organization, and serves on the Finance and Audit, and Technology and Transformation Committees. He is also a member of the Deloitte US Management Leadership Team that drives the US Firm’s key decisions.
Trevear earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and holds a BS in Computer Science from Clark Atlanta University. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and the Executive Leadership Council (ELC).
Residing in Houston with his wife Dana, Trevear enjoys traveling with his family including his three children (Jeremy, Dylan, and Nia) and is an avid music fan, particularly Gospel. Moreover, Trevear strongly believes in the power of giving back to the community. He is a member of the Advisory Board at his local church and is an active INROADS alumnus where he sponsors several Deloitte/INROADS events and is an advocate for creating pathways for diverse students in the professional services industry.
