The withholding tax reclaim process has long been a burden for taxpayers. Host Carrie Falkenhayn is joined by Katherine Worraker, an investment management specialist and Tax partner from Deloitte’s London office joins Tim Rappoccio, a managing director in Deloitte Tax who specializes in tax issues for financial services organizations. They discuss the ways that technology may ultimately help refine what has historically been a cumbersome, paper-driven process, as well as the steps that organizations are taking to address uncertainty in this area, and to recover reclaims for themselves and their account holders.

You need to understand who is able to support you in your reclaims. Is it your custodian or is it outside of their service agreement? This is the case in more complex markets and on more complex claims.
