Once your application has been submitted, your resume and qualifications will be reviewed and you will be contacted if you are selected for an interview. If you don’t get contacted for an interview, please don’t be discouraged. Keep tabs on our open positions, and don’t be hesitant about applying for other roles in the future.
If selected for an interview, you will be contacted by a member of our recruiting team to schedule an initial phone interview, usually within one to two weeks. The first step in the interview process is typically an introductory phone or video interview with the recruiter. This interview is an opportunity for us to learn more about your background and for you to learn more about Deloitte and the role. While the interview process varies based on the business and role for which you are being considered, expect two to three rounds of interviews, via either telephone, video, or in person. If you advance through the process, you will meet with several of our professionals and may go through a mix of behavioral, technical, and case-based interviews (again, depending on the role for which you are being considered). Don’t be nervous. We can help you brush up on your interviewing skills and prepare great questions for your interviewers.
You will be notified of your status as quickly as possible. If you are receiving an offer, you will likely have it in writing within one week of your final interview. We encourage you to closely review your offer and ask questions of our recruiting team and the professionals you met throughout the process. This is a great time to take advantage of the relationships you formed during this process.
If you choose to accept your offer, you will work with an onboarding coordinator to determine your start date and new-hire training schedule. You’ll have access to our robust and easy-to-use new-hire portal, which will walk you through everything you’ll need in preparation for joining Deloitte. You’ll also spend your first few days in our new-hire orientation program, DLaunch, where you’ll learn more about Deloitte’s business strategy, get immersed in our purpose-driven culture, and expand your network of Deloitte professionals, leaders, and fellow new hires.
