Geoff has 20 years of experience, where he focuses on collaborating with his clients to develop bespoke solutions for their strategic opportunities & initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to risk management, digital transformations, process reengineering, business process outsourcing/insourcing, and ERP implementations. His experience involves leading client relationships through Internal Audit, Finance & Accounting, Compliance, Cyber Security, and Risk Management and he brings the firm’s assets to help his clients and their teams succeed. His specialization is risk management, where he spends a... significant amount of time assisting his clients in modernizing and transforming risk management activities across the 3 Lines by utilizing digital / AI capabilities and innovative ways of working. This includes strategy development and implementation, facilitating lab sessions and training, and identifying and developing digital use cases and assets. In addition, Geoff is a member of our Internal Audit market offering and Accounting & Internal Controls Offering Portfolio Leadership Teams and leads our Dynamic Risk Assessment capability. He is also a member of our AI Advisory team of our Finance Transformation leadership team. Geoff has led IA, SOX and compliance activities for multiple Fortune 500 companies and has managed operational, regulatory compliance, strategic, financial, and IT IAs domestically and globally, as well as assisted with implementing enterprise risk management frameworks and conducting internal audit risk assessments. In addition, throughout Geoff’s time with Deloitte, he has helped to incubate and bring several new products, technology assets, and services to market and is a recognized speaker at several industry and domain conferences on the topics of Risk Management, Digital Risk Management, AI, Analytics, and automation, and Risk Excellence (Coordinated Assurance).

Sarah Adams

Sarah is a managing director at Deloitte & Touche LLP and the global leader of Deloitte's IT Internal Audit practice with more than 25 years of audit, technology, operations, and IT risk and controls experience. For the first 12 years of her career, she held various operational roles within IT. As an auditor, she applies her knowledge of processes, risks, and controls to assist clients with establishing and strengthening the IT audit focus in their internal audit departments. Sarah currently leads the Deloitte Agile Internal Audit (IA) initiative, developing the methodology and working with clients to transform their... internal audit practices by applying agile techniques. She is actively working with multiple companies across industries to pilot Agile IA. Before joining Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory, Sarah served as the Global IT Audit director for a large media & entertainment company. Prior to that, she was an Internal Audit assistant vice president for a financial services company. Sarah has developed and presented training programs for The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and ISACA, and presented on a variety of audit and technical topics at their conferences.

Elizebeth Varghese

Elizebeth is a principal at Deloitte Consulting LLP and co-leads the Cloud Enabled Workforce practice, as well as the People in Space team. Elizebeth has more than 25 years of experience partnering with boards and C-suite leaders and managing significant P&Ls to achieve powerful business outcomes. She focuses on the enablement of technology and strategy through organization and talent initiatives by optimizing operating models, sourcing, skills, and resilience. Elizebeth is on the board of Columbia Business School’s Women’s Circle and co-chairs the Innovation and Entrepreneurship committee and also is an... advisor to the SETI Institute. She holds MBAs from both Columbia Business and London Business Schools, a master’s degree in management from TISS, and an undergraduate degree in pharmaceutical sciences.
