5G seeks to connect billions

As 5G technology boasts the potential to link billions of devices, machines, and people, more and more networking executives have come to consider it critical to enterprise success. The new wireless technology is bringing with it performance improvements, faster speeds, increased data capacity, lower latency, greater device density, and location sensing.

I think what’s fascinating is that connectivity is a raw technology. When it's conceived, when it's designed, there isn't always the application for it. But when it gets released out into the open, then the applications attract themselves to that raw capability.
